Day 1
Day 2
7:00 am: Breakfast starts
10:30 am- 2:30 pm: Following a great continental breakfast, prepare for a scenic 4-hour drive to La Fortuna, our home for the next three nights!
3:00 pm: Upon arriving at to the hostel, enjoy some free time in the movie room, hammocks, pool, pool tables, common areas, or in your own teepee!
5:00 pm: Relax in a hot spring river heated by a volcano, offering opportunities to spot wildlife. As the day concludes, return to the hostel to freshen up before heading to town for dinner and drinks.
Day 3
7:00 am: Breakfast starts
7:30 am: Depart early for an adrenaline-filled full day of whitewater rafting on the Balsa River and zip-lining through the rainforest. This exciting excursion will be complete with lunch!
4:30pm: Return and relax at the hostel until heading to town for dinner.
Day 4
7:00 am: Breakfast starts
10:00 am: Get your swimsuits ready because we're going to an amazing river spot, where you can show off your skills on the rope swing!
Once we finish up at the river, we'll head into town for an authentic Costa Rican lunch.
2:30 pm: We will enjoy the thrills of Baldi Hot Springs Resort and Spa, complete with water slides, swim up bars and an included buffet dinner.
9:30 pm: Tonight is our farewell to La Fortuna, so we'll head over to Voodoo Bar for some specialty cocktails. First round's on us!
Day 5
7:00 am: Breakfast starts
10:00 am: Time to check out of our teepees and get ready for the beach! Our van will transport us to Tamarindo which is another 4-hour drive.
2:00 pm: Upon arrival, we'll check into our new airbnb, where we will be staying for the remainder of the trip.
5:00 pm: We will head down to the beach for some dinner and drinks while we watch the sunset over the ocean!
Day 6
7:00 am: Breakfast starts
8:00 am: Get ready to put on some sunscreen and hit the beach for our 2 hour surf lesson!
After hopefully catching some waves, the rest of the day is yours to explore, shop, tan, relax by the pool, or continue surfing.
5:00 pm: Meet back at the house where we'll reconvene for dinner and drinks.
Day 7
7:00 am: Breakfast starts
12:30 pm: Make the most of your morning and meet back at the house to prepare for an afternoon on the water.
1:00 pm: We'll set sail on a sunset catamaran adventure with opportunities for snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, and kayaking. Lunch on board is included!
6:30 pm: After we return, freshen up before heading into town for the evening.
Day 8
7:00 am: Breakfast starts
8:00 am- 10:00 am : Join us for a captivating mangrove boat tour in Las Baulas National Park, where you'll spot crocodiles, monkeys, sloths, toucans, and more.
10:30 am: Enjoy another leisurely afternoon with some yoga, a serene beach walk, or even more surfing.
6:00 pm To mark the final night of our adventures, enjoy an all inclusive dinner and drinks! Afterwards, we can venture into town for a memorable last night out!
Day 9
7:00 am: Breakfast starts
8:00 am: As our Costa Rica adventure comes to a close, we'll check out of our accommodation and head back to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport by 9:00 am, where you will hopefully be leaving with some lifelong memories and new friends!
